First time in a church in a very long time and what better reason then to go for perogies.

We went around 1pm on Saturday and we were the only ones there at first but the kid in the kitchen was hopping with online orders.

Overall everyone was satisfied. Brad did find the schnitzel may have a been a tad overdone but we enjoyed the perogies. It was a fun experience. Would we go back? Maybe? But I’m more than happy with my bag of frozen perogies, fresh crispy bacon and sour cream.

Trying out some different flour combinations. It turned out pretty good… different texture than previous white loaves of course!

Checked out the musical in Toronto last night. I had no idea the plot until Brad told us as we were walking down to the musical so I wasn't sure what to expect. Overall, I enjoyed it, I liked the story... but I found the music to be pretty much the same throughout so I focused more on the dancing and production. The dancing I have to say was pretty fun, not often you see a lot of tap anymore.

Continuing down this path of perfecting the overnight white. This is the first time that I’ve used two Dutch oven to bake two at the same time.

Checked out this movie and it was pretty good. Comedy, slight horror but definitely entertaining. As one friend explained it as Castaway / Misery and that was pretty spot on.

It took me a while but it was fun to do two new things… first time for a star blanket and first time for a moss stitch… which was for the scarf.

It’s a very pretty stitch!

Last night we drove down to Windsor to visit Kelsey and Kyle. Met them for brunch and coffee today and then scooted home. We are avoiding unnecessary travel to the US and quite frankly driving across the border scares me. But for these two, it was worth a quick visit, they are more than happy to come to Canada, as they are having a child next month.

The second photo was taken with my mini Kodak pocket cam... definitely an aesthetic! And the rubber ducky for Kyle was an inside joke in relation to his obsession of collected Rubber Ducky's when we play Arc Raiders.

I have changed around my home office and combined two displays into one. That means I have two displays for sale. These are pretty good displays and even have a camera built in. The display is also a smart TV so you can have Netflix etc. on it and it comes with a remote. So it could double as a bedroom computer TV and display. I'm selling for $425 each. They retail new for $649.

For many years, I’ve been doing all my work on two displays. This year I added a third display to my desk for my gaming PC. Having three large displays on my desk meant I had to turn my neck quite a bit while I worked. It was literally becoming a pain in my neck.

So I opted to buy a curved wide screen display for my everyday work. It’s a beautiful 42 inch curved screen OLED, which is 5K2K. Technically it is a gaming monitor, and technically, I can’t swap to it for gaming, but it’s gonna be great to work on also.

It is wide, but it is also high, which I’m really enjoying. Now to sell my old displays!

My original flight was supposed to be this afternoon, I decided I could manage to come home sooner, so I switched to an earlier flight… I woke up and it said my new flight was delayed by 2 hours.

I quickly jumped on it and got on a 10:20 flight… I packed up and was out of the house in 20 minutes. Unfortunately I’ll be in a middle seat but I’ll survive.

And it will be very nice to get home at a reasonable hour!
